Created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Korea Dance Abroad,

Struggle was an international collaboration between Korea Dance Abroad, European contemporary circus company Petri Dish, and Korea’s JUBIN Company.Blending contemporary circus and dance, the work explored the sacrifices, social pressures,and inner conflicts individuals face in pursuit of success.

Circus techniques including Chinese pole, whip, lasso, and hair hanging created a powerful physical and visual experience.​Featuring Anna Nilsson, Sara Lemaire, Jubin Kim, Anna Nilsson, Angela Wand, Jiwon Han, Joohyun Sung, Marina Cherry, Minji Kang, Seoyoung Hwang,
Suji Kim, and Viola Baroncelli.
