코리아댄스어브로드는 2014년 설립된 비영리 단체로, 한국 무용의 독창성과 예술성을 세계에 알리고 독립 무용가와 민간 무용 단체의 해외 진출을 지원하고 있다. 다양한 국가의 예술기관과 협력해 투어, 워크숍, 공동제작, 레지던시 등 국제 교류 활동을 추진해왔으며, 현대무용을 포함한 다양한 장르의 예술적 협업을 통해 국제무대에서의 지속 가능한 네트워크를 구축해왔다. 한국 무용의 세계화를 위한 중장기 전략을 바 탕으로 글로벌 유통 기반 형성과 국제 공동 기획 모델 개발에 힘쓰고 있다.
Korea Dance Abroad is a non-profit organization established in 2014 with the mission of promoting the originality and artistry of Korean dance on the global stage. It supports the international advancement of independent dancers and private dance companies by collaborating with arts institutions around the world through tours, workshops, co-productions, and residency programs.
Through artistic collaborations across a variety of genres—including contemporary dance—it has built a sustainable international network. Grounded in a long-term strategy for the globalization of Korean dance, Korea Dance Abroad is dedicated to establishing a global distribution platform and developing models for international co-productions.

The event opens with "Yeonhee! Sound of S(e)oul", a vibrant performance blending traditional Korean music and dance, including gayageum (zither) playing, buchaechum (fan dance), hallyangmu (aristocratic dance), beona noleum (spinning dish performance), seoljanggu (double-headed drum), and Jindo bukchum (Jindo drum dance).
Following the opening, "S(e)oul Down" will feature performances by five choreographers representing different generations of Korean dance: Won Kim, Jaehee Choi, Jihee Lee, Eun hye Ku, and Jaewoo Jung.
This program offers a valuable opportunity to present the remarkable growth and evolution of Korean dance and art to the global stage through a prestigious and mainstream platform in New York.

The Seoul-Down project
facilitated international artistic exchange by bringing together Korean and foreign artists for collaboration, performance, and re-creation.
With a concept of world collaboration encompassing North America, Europe, and Asia, the festival featured five works from five countries, presented in harmonious collaboration by various choreographers and dancers.

Big Mouth PAN-Asian Dance Festival

a performance series under Harkness Dance Center’s main program, Dig Dance, presenting dance companies from across the Pan-Asian region—including Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China—to local audiences.
